The Woodland Duplex

The Woodland Duplex is the private side of a raised duplex on the grounds of Woodland Plantation in Port Sulphur, Louisiana, in lower Plaquemines Parish. It sleeps up to 5 guests: each of the two bedrooms has a queen bed, and a single daybed in the living area sleeps a fifth. There is one bathroom with a tub. The living area, with a couch and a recliner, opens to a full kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, and coffee maker, and the screened porch is the place to sit outside. You have your own entrance, and no indoor space is shared with the other side. The house sits on pilings, with gravel parking underneath for a truck and boat trailer, and fishing equipment is available to guests during the stay. You also get a washer and dryer, WiFi, a TV, and air conditioning. The plantation bar and restaurant are a short walk away, off Highway 23.
